چکیده

Abstract Background Yellow (stripe) rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst), is an economic disease of wheat. Growth-promoting fungi (GPF) such as Trichoderma asperellum and Penicillium simplicissimum have been investigated for their potential to control yellow rust involvement in gene expression four PR proteins all-stage resistance. Results Wheat plants (cv. Sids-12) treated individually with each the biocontrol agents, P. T. , at 24 48 hpi showed a resistance response (infection type = 2) compared non-treated plants, which highly susceptible 9). Both agents induced against on wheat exhibiting moderate (10 MR) reduced colony size Pst (0.6 mm 2 ). Moreover, increased ( P ≤ 0.05) grain yields infected Pst. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) leaves hyperparasitism urediniospores inhibition spore germination. Expressions pathogenesis-related ) protein genes, PR1, PR2, PR3 PR4 were higher both than checks. Conclusion exhibited (Pst) plants. It was found that defence mechanism activated high genes agents.

Quantitative Proteomics Reveals the Defense Response of Wheat against Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici

Wheat stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst), is considered one of the most aggressive diseases to wheat production. In this study, we used an iTRAQ-based approach for the quantitative proteomic comparison of the incompatible Pst race CYR23 in infected and non-infected leaves of the wheat cultivar Suwon11. A total of 3,475 unique proteins were identified from three key...

Diversity resistance to Puccinia striiformis f. sp Tritici in rye chromosome arm 1RS expressed in wheat.

The 1BL.1RS wheat-rye translocation contained in the Russian cultivar Aurora has been the most widespread alien translocation in wheat-breeding programs all over the world. However, following the prevalence of new biotypes of the pathogens, disease-resistance genes in this translocation chromosome have been overcome and consequently they have been eliminated in modern wheat-breeding programs. I...

Transcriptome analysis of the wheat-Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici interaction.

Stripe rust [caused by Puccinia striiformis Westend. f. sp. tritici Eriks. (Pst)] is a destructive disease of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) worldwide. Genetic resistance is the preferred method for control and the Yr5 gene, originally identified in Triticum spelta var. album, represents a major resistance (R) gene that confers all-stage resistance to all currently known races of Pst in the Unite...
